Heavy Rescue team called in following Footscray accident

MFB's Heavy Rescue crew has helped in releasing an injured woman from a vehicle on Ballarat Road in Footscray.

The three vehicle motor accident near Droop Street happened at 10.30 this morning.

Trams were stopped in the area and traffic remains heavy with motorists asked to avoid the area if possible. 

Victoria Police, Ambulance Victoria and representatives from VicRoads and Yarra Trams all assisted at the scene.
