Approximately 30 firefighters responded to a house fire in Reservoir, following a Triple Zero (000) caller reporting fire in their living room.

MFB crews arrived on scene at 1:06pm and found the Tambo Avenue home well involved in fire.

Firefighters conducted an internal and external attack on the fire, and managed to bring it under control less than 20 minutes after arriving on scene.

Fortunately all residents had self-evacuated prior to MFB’s arrival on scene and no injuries were reported.

Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria crews are assisting on scene.

A community warning has been issued.
