MFB crews battle house fire in Cambellfield

Firefighters have responded to a house fire at Campbellfield this morning following multiple calls to triple-zero.

The callers stated that smoke and flames were visible and there were also suggestions that occupants could have been inside.

MFB crews were on scene in less than 4 minutes and reported that the house was fully involved in fire.

All occupants were quickly accounted and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus conducted an aggressive external attack.

The fire was declared under control in 15 minutes.

A cause has yet to be determined and fire investigators will attend today.

Victoria Police were on scene assisting with traffic control and Ambulance Victoria monitored the firefighters as they emerged from the fire scene.
