North Coburg fire

A number of Triple Zero (000) calls alerted crews to a fire late this morning at Allenby Road in North Coburg.

Crews received the call at 11:41am and arrived in six minutes after dispatch to find two structures, including a tin shed fully alight and producing a significant amount of smoke.

More than 20 firefighters in breathing apparatus conducted an internal attack on the blaze and worked quickly to limit the damage. An adjacent factory was affected by the fire and suffered some structural damage.

The fire was declared the under control in under 40 mins.

MFB's fire investigators will attend to determine a cause.

 

Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria were also on scene.
