back to list
27 Dec 2017
MFB crews are on scene at a house fire in Sandringham.

Crews arrived on scene just before 5pm to find a double storey townhouse ablaze.

It's believed the fire broke out on the first floor.

All occupants of the home had self-evacuated prior to the arrival of firefighters.

Crews used aerial appliances to quickly knock down the blaze from above.

The fire was brought under control within an hour but crews are expected to remain on scene for some time to ensure the fire is out safely.

The cause of the incident will be investigated.
