Memories saved in Malvern house fire

Fire Investigators will probe the cause of a fire which ripped through a Malvern home last night.

Crews were called to the large two storey home on Haverbrack Avenue just after 10pm.
They arrived to find the second storey well alight but luckily, no one home.
Firefighters were able to save a number of precious items, such as photo albums.
It took 26 firefighters 30 minutes to bring the fire under control and another hour to fully extinguish it.
The cause of the incident is yet to be determined and Fire Investigators will attend the scene this morning to investigate.
