Occupants dragged from burning house in Dallas overnight

Crews found the house on Dallas Drive fully engulfed in flames just before 12:30am

Multiple Triple Zero calls were received in the early hours of the morning for a house fire on Dallas Drive in Melbourne's north, with reports of missing persons.

As crews rushed to the scene they found the 20 metre by 15 metre single storey house fully engulfed in flames.

An adjoining property was also threatened by the blaze.

Two occupants were dragged from the house suffering smoke inhalation and were treated by MFB firefighters until Ambulance Victoria arrived on scene.

Crews searched the building using breathing apparatus and found no other occupants.

Firefighters worked quickly to bring the fire under control after 30 minutes.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
