Pascoe Vale garage fire under control in 5 minutes

MFB firefighters have attended a fire in Pascoe Vale following two calls to triple-zero.

One call said the house was fully engulfed in flames. 

On arrival crews found a single storey weatherboard house 10 x 15 metres with the attached garage involved in fire. 

Further resources were requested to deal with the incident.

Firefighters aggressively attacked the fire whilst protecting surrounding properties from the radiant heat.

Crews in breathing apparatus conducted a search of the premises for occupants, all had self-evacuated to safety.

The fire was brought under control in 5 minutes.

At this stage the cause of the fire has not been established.

Police and Ambulance also assisted MFB crews at the scene.
