Pilot safe after emergency landing at Moorabbin Airport

MFB and CFA created a foam blanket for the pilot to land on.

Appliances were despatched to a plane in difficulty at Moorabbin Airport shortly after midday.

The information received was that a light aircraft had difficulty with its front wheel.

While the plane circled appliances on scene laid a foam blanket for the plane to land on.

The plane landed safely at approximately 12:55 hrs.

Crews will remain on scene for some time to ensure the scene is safe.
