Prahran residents had a soggy evening after a burst sprinkler pipe caused flooding in an apartment block overnight.

Prahran residents had a soggy evening after a burst sprinkler pipe caused flooding in an apartment block overnight.
MFB firefighters responding to a fire alarm at Macquarie Street just after 2.30am arrived to find significant flooding to the ground and first floors of the apartment complex. 
Affected residents were evacuated with the help of Victoria Police and alternative accommodation was arranged.
MFB firefighters worked hard to minimise the flooding and damage to the complex.
