Prahran timber and furniture warehouse damaged in blaze

A timber and furniture factory in Prahran has been damaged in an early morning blaze.

Crews were called to the warehouse on King Street at 6am.

The factory fire, measuring approximately 50 by eight meters, was contained to the rear of a building.

Firefighters used breathing apparatus to gain access to the seat of the blaze.

Good work by firefighters who attended had the fire under control in 30 minutes.

The building is a storage warehouse for timber and furniture.

Fire Investigators will determine the cause.
