28 Mar 2018
Fire Investigators are probing the cause of a fire which ripped through a St Albans house this morning.

Firefighters were called to the address on Taylors Road just before 10.30 following multiple Triple Zero (000) calls.

Crews arrived to find the roof space in flames and mounted an agressive internal attack on the fire.

Through swift action, they managed to contain the fire to the roof space.

Luckily, the occupant of the home had safely evacuated prior to firefighters' arrival.

The fire was under control in just under 30 minutes.

The cause will be investigated.
