St Kilda East apartment fire

MFB crews have responded to an apartment fire in St Kilda East this afternoon.

Crews arrived at the Wando Grove residence in just over 4 minutes to find a fire on the first floor of a two
storey apartment block.
A woman has been treated for minor burns and smoke inhalation by Ambulance Victoria.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus have contained the fire to the apartment which had a large amount of contents.
20-30 residents from surrounding apartments were evacuated as a precaution but have since been returned.
Police attended.
MFBs Fire Investigation Analysis Unit will also attend to investigate a
cause.
