St Kilda house fire

back to list
25 Dec 2016
MFB crews have been hard at work in St Kilda this evening.

Firefighters were alerted to a blaze at a single storey weatherboard house on Crews Street about 11pm.
It took fireys less than 15 minutes to get the blaze under control and make sure no one was inside.
Although houses on either side were very close to the flames, firefighters managed to protect them with exposure lines.
Crews will remain on scene overnight and specialist fire investigators will attend at first light to investigate the cause.
