Suspicious fire at Meadow Heights home

A home in Meadow Heights was damaged by fire overnight.

Fire crews were called to the single storey home on Hallston Court just before 6pm after numerous calls reporting a fire with smoke issuing from the roof.
Crews were able to bring the fire under control in 25 minutes, a search was conducted by crews wearing Breathing Apparatus who established that the property was unoccupied at the time. 
Fire crews remained on scene for several hours monitoring hot spots within the property.  
The fire has been deemed suspicious and was handed over to police for investigation.  Damage is estimated at approximately $100,000
