Suspicious fire at Panel Beaters in Campbellfield.

On arrival, firefighters were confronted by a fire at the rear of the single storey brick building.

The fire was contained to a spray painting storage area measuring 5x3m which was severely damaged by fire including its contents and a section of the roof above.

Other areas of the premises have also been damaged by heat and smoke.

The fire was under control in 15 minutes and breathing apparatus was used in the operation.

Eighteen firefighters attended including a crew from CFA.

The call has been deemed to be of a suspicious nature and police are investigating.
