Suspicious fire in Braybrook

Police are investigating a suspicious blaze in Braybrook overnight.

MFB firefighters were called to a house fire in Braybrook about 11.30pm last night.

The weatherboard house was well alight with multiple callers notifying the brigade.

Swift action by attending crews brought the fire under control in approximately 15 minutes, containing the fire to the rear of the house.

The house was not occupied and the fire was deemed suspicious. 

Police remained on scene overnight and investigate today.
