11 Dec 2016
Firefighters were quick to respond following a suspicious fire at a Broadmeadows unit this morning.

It appears the fire began in a wheelie bin between two units in Graham St just after 3am.
One of the properties was unoccupied while the resident of the second was evacuated safely.
Crews from MFB and CFA worked together  to contain the fire and minimise the damage to the two homes.
The fire is being treated as suspicious and Victoria Police is investigating.
