Suspicious fire in Hampton overnight

MFB firefighters have extinguished a fire which ripped through three shops in Hampton, bringing it under control within minutes.

Crews were called to the premises in Hampton St about 2.15am following several Triple Zero ’000’ calls.

 

Firefighters were able to quickly contain ithe fire and stop it from spreading to further shops before extinguishing it completely.

The fire has been deemed suspicious and Victoria Police will investigate.
