17 Nov 2016
A team of 20 firefighters have spent the early hours of this morning battling a suspicious fire at an abandoned house in Tullamarine.

A neighbour spotted flames and smoke billowing from the house about 4.30am and raised the alarm.
MFB firefighters in breathing apparatus searched the building but luckily no one was inside.
Crews mounted an internal attack on the fire and managed to get it under control within 48 minutes.
The fire is being treated as suspicious and Victoria Police will investigate.
