Suspicious fire in West Melbourne

MFB firefighters are currently in North Melbourne after a blaze broke out in a factory this evening.

Passers by spotted thick plumes of smoke billowing from the printing factory on Ireland Street and phoned Triple Zero (000) shortly before 9pm.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus entered the burning building to search for the seat of the fire.
The fire is now under control however a community warning has been issued for residents in the immediate area due to smoke.
The fire is believed to be suspicious and Victoria Police are on scene.
