back to list
01 Jun 2015
A Bundoora fruit shop was damaged by fire overnight.

Crews were called to the store on Dennison Mall just before 8.30pm on Sunday evening.

They arrived quickly at the scene and worked hard to contain the fire to this single storey fruit shop.

The fire was difficult to contain as it was in the centre of a group of shops and access was difficult.

Additional crews were despatched along with an additional ladder platform to assist.

The shop was 15mx30m and of brick and steel construction.

Breathing apparatus was in use.

The fire was under control in 45 minutes and has been deemed suspicious.
