MFB firefighters are currently on scene in Thomastown following a HAZMAT incident.

MFB firefighters are currently on scene in Thomastown following a HAZMAT incident.
Crews were called to the factory on Holt Parade about 10.15am after a leak was reported.
The leak is believed to stem from a nitrous acid tank inside the factory.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus are working to evacuate four people from inside the factory who are currently sheltering in a safe area.
There are no reported injuries following the incident. 
It's expected that crews will be at the scene for some time and people are advised to avoid the area.
