Total Fire Ban in Melbourne tomorrow Wednesday 13 January

CFA has declared a day of Total Fire Ban in several districts tomorrow.

WEDNESDAY 13 JANUARY 2016 has been declared by the CFA as a day of Total Fire Ban in the following areas in Victoria:

  • Mallee
  • Wimmera
  • Northern Country
  • North East
  • West & South Gippsland
  • Central (includes Melbourne and Geelong)
  • North Central
  • South West

No fires can be lit in the open air between 00:01 hours on 13/01/2016 and 23:59 hours on 13/01/2016.

CFA advises people living in areas at risk of fire to activate their bush fire plan.
