Townhouse Fires in Burwood

Several calls were received for the Burwood fires, and on arrival fire fighters were confronted with a fire that had taken control of a pair of townhouses.

Address: Eyre St/Central Ave, Burwood

The unoccupied and unfinished townhouses suffered extensive fire damage, with the roof of one collapsing onto the top floor and the other townhouse roof collapsing all the way to the ground floor.

A building Surveyor will attend during daylight hours to check the integrity of the structure.

Under control in 17 minutes.

The cause is suspicious and police are investigating
