20 Aug 2015
A car carrier has gone up in flames in Greensborough overnight

Calls were received for a truck fire in the car park behind KFC Greensborough at 3.43am today.  When MFB crews arrived the semi-trailer car transporter was fully alight, including the seven cars on the back of the truck.

MFB firefighters donned breathing apparatus in fighting the fire due to the toxic smoke.  All seven cars and the truck were destroyed in the fire which has been deemed suspicious.  Victoria Police is investigating.
