Unit fire Little Grey St, St Kilda

MFB received several calls for a fire in a block of units

The fire, at 11.45pm on Friday night, involved a unit on the second floor and MFB firefighters needed to rescue an occupant off the balcony of the building.

Ambulance Victoria paramedics treated a 45 year old male who suffered burns to his arm.

Twenty-one MFB firefighters brought the fire under control in 12 minutes.  The cause of the fire is suspicious and is being investigated by Victoria Police
