Unit fire in Westmeadows

The fire involved two unoccupied, two storey brick veneer units.

Address: Fawkner St/Bent St, Westmeadows

 

One of the units has been extensively damaged by fire and is in danger of collapsing.

The other unit has also suffered moderate fire damage around the door and window areas as well as some heat and smoke damage.

A building surveyor will attend during daylight hours to check the integrity of the structure.

Under control in 18 minutes.

The cause is suspicious and police are investigating
