11 Jan 2011
Smoke from the textile factory fire has now reduced though MFB crews will remain at the scene of the fire to monitor and guard against any reigniting materials.

MFB has advised people in the Cowper Street vicinity there is no longer a health hazard posed from smoke from the fire and has recalled its warnings to stay indoors.

However, anyone who feels they may have suffered any ill-effects from smoke inhalation should seek medical attention.
