A four-year-old boy has potentially been turned off sweets for life after becoming caught in a vending machine in Ringwood this afternoon.
The lolly-loving lad got his hand caught in an old fashioned sweet dispensing machine in Eastland just before 4.30pm.
MFB firefighters were quick on the scene and, after a delicate operation and a few tears, managed to pull apart the machine and free the boy's hand.
The youngster did not walk away empty handed. Firefighters arrived bearing lollipops.
All's well that ends well.
