Woman hospitalised after falling on heater in St Kilda

A St Kilda East woman was taken to hospital last night after she fell on her heater.

The 45-year-old woman was burned after her clothes caught fire after coming into contact with an electric bar heater.

Crews were called to her Celeste Court home just before 11.30pm.

She was transported to hospital by ambulance. The woman's unit was not damaged by the fire.
