Physical Aptitude Test - familiarisation

Applicants are offered the opportunity to attend a Physical Aptitude Test (PAT) Familiarisation session.

The PAT familiarisation is designed to raise awareness of the physical requirements and techniques necessary to successfully complete the PAT. 

Applicants, who choose to attend, will be guided through the PAT course by Operational Training personnel who will demonstrate each activity and provide tips on technique to assist in completing the task.  Applicants will have the opportunity to practice specific tasks as well as ask questions. 

The MFB Health and Fitness Unit will also be on hand to provide relevant training advice.

The Physical aptitude familiarisation wil be conducted at Victorian Emergency Management Training Centre (VEMTC) – Craigieburn and attendance is voluntary.

Physical Aptitude Test (PAT) Familiarisation sessions will be held:

  • Saturday 2 April 2016
  • Sunday 3 April 2016
