Overview 

The course is designed for staff in the role of warden in their workplace. This may include building wardens, fire safety officers or OH and S officers.

The course is structured in accordance with Australian Standards: Planning for emergencies in
facilities (AS 3745-2010) and Planning for emergencies - Health care facilities (AS 4083-
2010). 

Content:

  • Fire awareness in your workplace
  • Identifying various fire protection equipment in buildings
  • The wardens role and responsibilities
  • Evacuation procedures
  • Identification of the various types of extinguishers and hose reels on the premises

  • The practical application of the extinguishers in a real fire situation

Please note: Please provide parking for the trainer's vehicle.
