Overview

This course is designed for those employees who may be required to wear breathing apparatus equipment in an emergency situation. The training covers the correct use and procedures to be adopted in the wearing of this equipment. 

The full day course has more intense practical emphasis. Morning tea is provided. (Lunch can be provided on full day course at additional cost)

Course content

  • Starting and operating procedures

  • Practical exercises

  • Theoretical knowledge

  • Decontamination procedures including proctective clothing (where applicable)

The firm/company must supply a doctors certificate certifying the all participants are medically fit to undertake the training and capable of performing the training and wearing a breathing apparatus

The course can be specifically tailored to the direct needs of your firm and or industry. At the end of the course applicants will be able to confidently wear the breathing apparatus sets and perform task enabling them to manage emergency situations prior to arrival of emergency personnel.
