Overview:

This course is designed for staff in all areas of the workplace. At the conclusion of the course the participant will have attained an understanding of fire prevention practices in the workplace; this includes initial emergency response to an incident using Standard Fire Orders. 

This course also incorporates the use of extinguishers and hose reels.

Course content:

  1. PUAWER001A: Identify, prevent and report potential workplace emergency solutions
  2. PUAWER004A: Respond to workplace emergencies
  3. PUAWER008B – Confine small workplace emergencies

Note: Please provide parking for the Trainer's vehicle.

* The MFB is a registered training organisation (RTO). This course is registered with the Victorian Registration & Qualifications Authority (VRQA). Participants who successfully demonstrate competence will be eligible for a Statement of Attainment.
